2 Dimensional Motion
When motion happens in two dimensions, such as throwing a ball, it is easiest to examine the motion in the x and the y direction independent of each other. Lets examine the problem of a ball being thrown horizontally from a bridge with a velocity of 5 m/s. The ball hits the water after 2.45 seconds.
